Background
Hardly any other company on the market is as specialised in three-dimensional X-ray diagnostics as PreXion from Japan. With well over 15 years of experience in software-supported 3D X-ray imaging, PreXion systems offer outstanding precision for safe diagnostics and planning in all areas of dentistry. After the extremely successful market entry in the US, PreXion is represented with a new CBCT system—the PreXion3D EXPLORER. The target of development is focused on the global market, especially for Europe and the US. PreXion’s dental CBCT scanner is based on unique technologies used daily for thousands of medical diagnoses globally. Utilising the image processing technologies, it is designed for dental applications such as oral surgery, dental implant procedures, periodontics, endodontics, orthodontics, airway analysis, TMJ and general dentistry.*
Project Brief
For the launch of their new CBCT-scanner for the European market, the company Prexion (Japan) approached us. The goal was a complete campaign for the largest dental fair in the world, the IDS in Cologne.
From the cooperation of sales, marketing and print art direction an advertisement step by step campaign was created which was spread over all publications of our media house. The entire look & feel as well as the CD guidelines for the later realization of materials were created by them. Other advertising materials were brochures that were designed with images of the product and all key facts about the product, the stand design and all the goodies that were distributed at the fair.
Step by step campaign
In the first step, we only played with the pure look and feel of the campaign and did not use any pictorial material of the product. The wording explained what it is about and what you can look forward to.
In order to build up tension and to inform the customer more quickly from when the product is available, a countdown timer has been integrated.

In the second step, a small detail of the device as well as the name will be revealed, in order to build up further tension and to whet the appetite of the potential customers.

The last step of the campaign was the publication/presentation for the new product. The veil falls and the product was revealed on the morning of the first day of the fair. Fittingly, the countdown timer reached its final state and the website with all the information about the product, was launched.

Click Dummy
For the presentation in front of the customer I have created a quick and very lofi click-dummy for the website. I took an iPad in too the meeting to show the design. This is a good way to give the customer a better feel for it and how it will actually work in his final usage environment.
Sidenotes
I also took my phone with a mobile optimized version. So the client can see that its actually optimized for it and works for all devices.
A funny side note is that he really thought it was already finished and ready. Which shows very well that the method works
